It has been a while since we have done a major update to this section but not for lack of news! We have been squirreled away as the cold has come and we have a lot to show for it.

The biggest announcement is our teaming up with indie music powerhouse SideOneDummy in creating "The Artist on Artist Poster Series." Every month in 2011 we will be creating a limited edition, screen printed poster depicting one of their amazing bands. The posters will be available first through SideOneDummy and we will have just a few afterwards for sale if any so get them while you can. Bands we will be doing include (but not limited to) The Gaslight Anthem, Flogging Molly, and first up - THE BOUNCING SOULS. Now you may ask yourself "Self, The Bouncing Souls aren't on SideOneDummy?" That leads us to...

El Jefe Design is also partnering up with SideOneDummy on The Complete Control Recording Sessions! Over the next few months we will be designing 10" record covers for a host of bands, the first being The Bouncing Souls! They delivered a host of great songs including a cover of The Misfits classic "Hybrid Moments" which we used as inspiration for the first print. The 19 x 25, two color screenprint will be available for pre-sale soon!

We also have been busy on a host of other posters! We are lucky enough to work with Blonde Redhead as they tour through Japan and Australia! We also have posters up for Deerhoof as they play the 9:30 Club February 7, 2011.

We also got to create a special poster for Rock to Roll! Every year Joe Sib and SideOneDummy team up with a roster of excellent and giving bands to do a concert to benefit children and teens who need wheelchairs! We were thrilled to donate the design of this poster to help this worthy cause and were delighted to hear sales raised $1,400!
